Paris Hilton splits from Paris Latsis7 October 2005 Paris Hilton has announced over the weekend that her confusing engagement to Paris Latsis has ended. The 24 year old Paris?Hilton that is, said that "she was not ready for marriage", and decided to call of the engagement with the 22 year old fellow heiress, rather then opting for the early divorce option which most celebrities often choose. The split seems to have been received relatively well by Latsis, as he has been quoted as saying that "the most incredible woman I have ever met in my life," and continued to say that "I respect her decision and appreciate the very kind and generous manner in which she is handling her very difficult decision," Latsis said.
"This was the best experience of my life and I will always be grateful for it. The decision has apparently been approved by both families as they have recently expressed concern about Latsis?s lack of employment and Hilton?s choice of life style and whether the two were really ready for the commitment of marriage. For the Hilton family this not the first marriage fiasco, as Nicole Hilton, the less controversial sister, was married for just months to New York businessman Todd Andrew Meister in 2004. The marriage was quickly annulled. As for Paris and Paris, they are both young and ridiculously rich, so look for the couple?s home video sex tape to be ?accidentally? released just before their next major event. |
