Bids for the pop singer?s undergarment had reached $60,000 before it was yanked from an eBay auction. The bra was one of the dozens of articles Spears was selling online to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The bra was pulled off eBay earlier this week, because it went against the online auction site?s policy of selling used underwear. The company later reversed the decision, classifying the bra as a piece of entertainment memorabilia.
Later on in the week the singer decided that the bra would not be included as part of the auction.
On a message posted on the 23-year-old pop star?s web site, Spears said she was ?concerned that some of you might be confusing this bra with something that it?s not.?
The bra was worn by Spears during a promotion for a HBO concert. The star said she wore it while performing her hit ?Baby One More Time?.
During the last year Spears made headlines with marriage and the recent birth of her first child.
