George Clooney has a Rough Night at the Bar4 November 2005 George Clooney went toe-to-toe with a security guard in London?s west-end.
The incident happened around 2:00 am after a gate away attempt from the local paparazzi went wrong and Clooney ended up in an alley with his ex-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon outside the club.
The local media caught onto Clooney?s plan and were coming to the alley were the pair were waiting for their driver to return. Clooney saw a security guard at the club and asked for his help, the guard apparently ignored the actor and that upset Clooney.
"The security guard was walking down the alley and George screamed at him, 'come back here' and then he said, 'I am going to f**king have you,'" an onlooker described.
A pushing match started between the two men after the ER star took a run at the bouncer. Witnesses said that Lisa Snowdon was getting in the middle trying to grab the actor and talk him down.
"He squared up to the security guard and Lisa was screaming at him, 'George, George, come here'. She grabbed his hand and tried to pull him away and finally a Jeep pulled up," said the witness.
At this point Clooney?s driver found him and he was quickly put into the vehicle before it sped out of the alley.
The actor was in London to promote his new film entitled Good Night, And Good Luck. Clooney talked about a recent injury he had while shooting an upcoming film, the injury left his spine severely damaged.
