Alias, the show that skyrocketed Jennifer Garner to fame is going off the air after it?s spring finale. The show's network ABC announced the news, adding they wanted to make room for other programs such as Invasion. There are also rumors that Garner?s pregnancy with her baby with Ben Affleck.
The creator of the show J.J. Abrams will be working on the upcoming Mission Impossible 3 movie with Tom Cruise, this is also rumored to play a role in the networks decision.
The 8 p.m. Thursday timeslot is infamous for killing sitcoms, before Alias the longest lasting show was Mork and Mindy.
Ratings for the show have not been very good this year and the show has been rumored to have been on the chopping block for awhile on various entertainment and science fiction magazines over the last couple months.
Garner will be lending her voice to the upcoming Charlotte's Web movie in the upcoming year.
