E! Television Welcomes Back The Simple Life29 November 2005 Simple Life fans can sigh in relief, the reality television show has found a new home on the E! Entertainment Television network.
The network bought the rights to air the show after it was dropped by the Fox television network earlier this year it has now found new life on the cable network. Another obstacle the show had to address was the very public feud between the show?s two stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. This year the two will not appear on the screen together, instead cameras will follow the girls through with of their own adventures.
The 10-episode season will called The Simple Life: Till Death Do Us Part, this time each girl will live with their own family and play the role of their wife, including doing housework and cooking. At the end a winner will be decided on which of the party girls is the better wife.
We are thrilled to welcome Paris, Nicole and The Simple Life to E!. The addition of this huge comedy hit to our schedule will continue to distinguish E! as the leader in entertainment, celebrity and pop culture television," explained Ted Harbert, president and CEO of E! Networks.
This shortened will be the forth season for the popular reality show, it will be aired starting in the spring.
