Up-and-coming musician Wafah Dufour is having a lot of success in the American music scene and her upcoming cover shot in GQ?s January issue is the best proof of it. When interviewed it does not take long for the topic of the discussion to switch to her infamous uncle, Osama bin Laden.
She has said multiple times that she has never meet the man responsible for the worst attack on U.S. soil and has changed her last name to her mother?s maiden name upon moving to the United States.
"Everyone relates me to that man, and I have nothing to do with him,? explained Dufour. "There are 400 other people related to him, but they are all in Saudi Arabia, so nobody's going to get tarred with it? I'm the only one here [in America].?
In addition to being known as a possible next big thing in music, Dufour has a law degree.
