Angelina Jolie and Brad Having a Baby16 January 2006 I know it?s a big surprise to many, but Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have made it official they are a couple and they have also announced that they are expecting a baby.
This will be the first biological child that either have had, Jolie has adopted children earlier. There have been rumors of the pregnancy for a couple weeks now. As of last week ago both publicists were denying the rumors, now both of the actors spokespeople have confirmed the rumors. Pitt is also in the process of adopting Jolie?s two adopted children.
The couple grabbed headlines when they first became romantic during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Pitt was still married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston at the time. It is rumored that one of Pitt?s reasons for ending his marriage with Aniston was her choice not to have children and has made his desire to start a family public.
"God, I'm going to say it: Kids. Family. I'm thinking family. Yeah. I got family on the mind," explained Pitt in a 2004 interview with Diane Sawyer.
Before the news of Jolie?s newest arrival came she was thinking about adopting another child, adding that she could not see herself giving birth to a baby herself.
"Most of the night I just thought about how quickly I want to adopt again. It's a very special thing. There's something about making a choice, waking up and traveling somewhere and finding your family," the Jolie explained to People magazine in October. |
