The younger of the Hilton sister will be entering the family business as a hotel owner. Nicky Hilton said that her family will only serve as advisors and added the hotels will not be a part of the Hilton Hotel chain.
"I'll go to my family for advice, but they're not involved at all," she said, adding that she also found the necessary funding for the project on her own.
Nicky Hilton plans on opening a pair of Nicky O boutique hotels in Miami and Chicago this year, most say the the letter O in the name stands for Olivia, Hilton?s middle name, but there have been other theories. Plans are big for the 94-room Miami hotel, there will be a news ticker in the in the elevators and a signature scent in the rooms. Well-known fashion designer Roberto Cavalli will design a $5,000-a-night penthouse at the boutique hotel.
This is not the first attempt Nicky Hilton has made in the business world, her handbag line called Chick by Nicky Hilton is currently in the process of shooting their first advertisements.
